November Update + Demo Announcement


Wow, this update has been long overdue! The game's progress is going well. It has slowed down a little bit recently because I got a retail job and trying to balance that with game development, writing commissions, and classes has been...fun!

Writing: 40% done, common route done!

The common route is done! The common route is days 1 and 2, while days 3-5 are dedicated to whoever's route you pick. I'm going to get started on Cotton's route sometime next month once the semester ends. Once her route is done, I'll be sending it to my proofreaders for feedback.

Music - 100%!

The music is done! I would like to shoutout our composers for helping bring this game to life. I can't wait until you all hear the tracks we have instore.

Programming: 30%

It's hard for me to put a number on the programming portion but if I have to say, it's 30% done. As you can see, the GUI has been fully implemented. The textbox is now a darker purple and has quick menu buttons. The gallery, save, and load screens are also in the game as well. All that's left is to program in our small phone feature, which will only be there to display text messages and calls, so I don't need to write it in the textbox. I believe it's not only easier, but makes it much more clear to the player that an exchange is happening through a phone if we actually show it visually.

Art: 67%

The CG artist, Beta, and the BG artist, Yui are both hard at work producing the art. Beta finished all of Lilco's CGs and Yui is working on Tony's living room! With that being said, all the art that we need for right now is complete.

Recently, I commissioned jtsketch to draw us Scott, Tony's lovable (but smelly) pug! He will appear in Tony's route so if you're a fan of doggos, I highly recommend you check out his route when the full game releases!

A demo is coming!

We will be releasing a demo for A Marble's Muse sometime next month. As I said earlier, we have all the assets that we need for the demo, they just need to be programmed into the game. I'm aiming before Christmas, so you guys get to have a nice little gift from me during the holidays!
