QoL Update: Bug Fixes, Typo Fixes Galore, QoLs, and More


Hey y'all! After hiring a couple of my friends to do QA for A Marble's Muse, I was able to fix some issues that have been plaguing the game since launch that I was not able to catch during my initial bug tests.

Here's what's in this patch:

  • Fixed a lot of typos...so many typo fixes...
  • A few bug fixes (i.e. Audio clips not playing, missing lines in Tony's neutral ending, text overflow, incorrect speaker tags)
  • Added the activate UI SFX to the quick menu buttons
  • Small re-writes to Tony's route
  • QoL Change: Added brief pauses and slower dissolves to most CGs before the textbox reappears. Since many of the marbles are on the ground, they get covered up by the textbox. The easiest solution to this was to add a pause.
  • QoL Change: Combined two CGs together into one gallery slot, essentially making them a variant of each other. On Deadlock's Day 3, you will get one of two CGs depending on how you talked to Tony on Day 1. One is easier to get than the other, but if you want a hint on how to get the second illustration: just be mean to Tony!
  • QoL Change: Changed the default font from Dimbo to Boogaloo

The demo also reflects some of these changes as well. This new patch will be live on Steam next week.
