I played this game for the first time about a year and a half ago when I was feeling terrible and happened to stumble across a tiktok post about it, and today, while going through a rough patch, i had a strong urge to find this game and replay it.
It's so beautifully written and underrated, you have a way with words that genuinely caused me to sob, no matter how old you are, you can always get better, it will get better even if it feels like its the end, because you've experienced it before, but still survived.
thank you so much for this game, even if its an older work of yours, please know it means everything to some people.

Hi Jay,

First of all, I wanted to say that I'm glad you're in a much better place mentally than you were almost two years ago and I'm glad you're still here despite the whatever happened long ago and your recent rough patch. <3

Secondly, thank you for both of your comments. It's true that this is one of my earlier works so thus, it's not as polished as my most recent titles and sometimes, I do get down about myself when looking back at past work. Reading your comments has helped me see the value in Another Day. Knowing that it has a special place in your heart and that it's helped you through a really tough point in your life fills me with such joy, and I'm grateful to have someone like you play one of my games. :) <3

Haven't finished yet but I'm like 99% sure that all of the actually met characters are just versions of Sebastian from the past

Reminded me so much about My R (the song). Anyways, I loved the progression and like yes, I love seeing a man recover for the best in the end. Seeing him have a happy end made my heart warm.

(Not a fan of the artwork for whatever reason cause maybe it's just not my taste, but I loved the story so that's a great plus)

Glad you enjoyed the story! And yes, the original concept came from My R. It's one of my favorite songs and I wanted to make a game based on its concept. :)

I made this account to comment on this

This is absolutely my favorite game I've ever played in my life.

I've never cried more to a videogame; I love it so much. It has so much transgender youth representation and as trans youth, it makes me feel supported and happy. :)

This game has a beautiful way of showing that people need support and that the transgender and LGBTQ+ community has it hard a lot.

Thank you so much for making this as I will never forget playing this, it'll probably stick with me for awhile. <3

much love, jay.

Hello Jay!

Thank you so much for playing my game and for leaving a comment. I'm really glad my game was able to connect with you and leave an lasting impact on you. It shows that I did my job as a writer. 🥺💕

As I'm fighting through the tears (happy ones), I just wanted to say that you have my full support! As you mentioned, trans people have it really hard. I hope that whatever hardships life may bring your way that you are able to overcome them because you are strong. Never forget that. :)

Best,

Kristi

Is it weird this is like, basically my life. Minus the people telling me not to off myself.

I absolutely loved this game. Its one of my favourites in the recent days since i've played it. Loved the story and i also learnt more about the transgender people and how they feel about their true identity. It taught me some valuable lessons too. Good job devs keep making more like this!

I dont know what to really say on this story. It was very emotional and found myself wanting to cry a good couple of times. Artwork was beutiful and I'm glad in the end there was a happy ending! Hope you enjoy the video!

This story carries a lot of weight and emotions. You portrayed confronting his past slowly and in his own time well. Pushing him to the edge until he can't hold it in anymore. There are some definite grammar and spelling stuff, especially in the beginning but, it's not too bad overall. I like how this visual novel has its own unique style and tells such a tear-jerking story. Really good stuff. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your kind words and I'm super glad you enjoyed the game!

I just released a new build of the game with (fingers crossed) all the spelling and grammar errors fixed. I swear, it's not a visual novel without some mistakes in the text. :')
